On August 26-27, the 5th (2022) China Medical Device Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Artificial Intelligence and Medical Robot Category Competition was held in Lin’an, Zhejiang. 40 medical device innovation projects from all over the country gathered in Lin’an, and finally 2 first prizes, 5 second prizes, 8 third prizes and 15 winners of the start-up group were selected. Growth group 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, 4 winners. The innovative needle-free drug delivery system for children produced by Beijing QS Medical Technology Co., Ltd. won the winning prize in the growth group. The China Medical Device Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (“Science and Technology China” series of activities) has been successfully held for four consecutive sessions under the guidance of the China Association for Science and Technology and the relevant units of the Ministry of Science and Technology. A total of 253 projects with the first, second and third prizes were selected in the four finals, and some of the projects have subsequently received funding from ministries, provinces, cities and the military, as well as various other competition awards. He pointed out that small and medium-sized enterprises are the main force of innovation, and that large and small enterprises integrate and cooperate, and do a good job in industrial relay, which is the key to building a healthy development environment for medical device innovation
